Your wedding shouldn’t be about the photos, the photos should be about your wedding.
GET TO KNOW ME
and what drives the passion behind my photography
The best way to describe my work is a mix of National Geographic with GQ/Vogue. I love to focus on the storytelling aspect of wedding photography as I capture your day (think photojournalism). I feel that candid images tend to be the photos you look back on the most, and the ones that evoke the emotions of the day. After all, we value images most that can bring us back to those moments, the images that invoke that feeling you felt in that moment. Oftentimes, these are moments you may not even realize are being captured. A glance from a relative, a hug from a long time friend, a tear of joy from a parent. I am here for the real moments that tell the story of your day.
With that said, I am always ready to jump in and pose you and your partner for those editorial style shots. Lets be honest, we are all a little awkward in front of the camera. As someone who likes to draw inspiration from editorial work in classic ad campaigns, I am here to give you the direction and tools needed to get those timeless images. Finding a balance between structured and natural is the best way to create a portrait that feels refined, yet true to yourselves. We will take little moments throughout the day to capture these, while prioritizing you presence with you friends and family ( I am sure I am a good time to hang out with, but I don't think your wedding day should be spent with me).
